Last October 28th, the ISCAP 2017 International Conference of Probiotics was held in Beijing.
During this conference, Mónica Olivares Martín, Research Director at Biosearch Life, gave a symposium in which she spoke about the clinical investigation of probiotics isolated from healthy human breast milk. She explained the clinical trials of the Biosearch Life strain, Lactobacillus fermentum CECT5716 (LC40), which is isolated from human breast milk. LC40 reduces the risk of baby respiratory infections, and also reduces the incidence of mastitis during breastfeeding period by 51%.
The event was attended by more than 3000 national primary care medical professionals who listened to the latest international news on the clinical application of probiotics in health.
