Ursolia® is an extract of the aerial part of Salvia officinalis L. with a high ursolic acid content. The Salvia genus is very large (about 900 species) and belongs to the Lamiaceae family and the lamioideas subfamily.
Ursolic acid (3β-hidroxy-urs-12-ene-28-oic acid) is the major constituent of Ursolia and, along with oleanolic acid, is largely responsible for the activity of the product.
The main therapeutic focus of Ursolia® is as an ingredient that helps to fight inflammation and congestion combined with Cranberry in situations of urinary tract infections (UTI).
