Biosearch Life, Innofood I + D + I and Nordwik Ice Creams presented the results of the second year of the project Feder Innterconecta CARMENTA: “New technological innovation strategies aimed at the health and well-being of children and women” before the CDTI in Facilities of Innofood, in Granada.
In this sense, the first food prototypes were presented: drinks, snacks, ice cream, powdered products, etc. developed within the framework of the project, incorporating natural ingredients with beneficial activity to prevent and treat certain health problems affecting women or children. In addition to their potential functionality, these products have suitable organoleptic characteristics for their future inclusion in the market.
The project is funded by the CDTI (Center for Industrial Technological Development) and has the support of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and the co-financing of the Structural Funds of the European Union (ERDF).
