Biosearch Life has participated in the second edition of BIOLATAM 2015, the most important biotechnology event in Latin America. A meeting that brings together academics, scientists, entrepreneurs and investors from more than 20 countries, held in Santiago de Chile, with the aim of promoting the development of science, technology and industry in Latin America and in the global marketplace.
It is organized by ProChile, and sponsored by the Chilean Association of Biotechnology Companies (Asembio), the Spanish Association of Biotechnology Companies (ASEBIO) and EBD Group.
Antonio Martinez, Commercial Director of Biosearch Life, participated in the session entitled “Open Innovation through cooperative schemes in Latin America: A public perspective” at which he explained Biosearch Life’s track record of success as a Spanish leader in biotechnology with innovative vocation towards healthy natural ingredients, as well as proposing the company as a partner, open to collaborate with potential Latin American players to address collaborative and market focused R&D projects that can succeed internationally.
Furthermore, the one-to-one meetings which took place during the event contributed to the dissemination of existing technological supply and demand at present for the pursuit and identification of new opportunities for collaboration, technology transfer and business development among Biosearch Life and other Latin American entities in the public and private sector.
The company has enjoyed the support of the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and ASEBIO, of which Biosearch is a major partner, to attend the event.
